Peter Eastwood

Eastwood Pottery, run by Peter and Sarah Eastwood, is located in Halifax Nova Scotia and specializes in small batch, ceramic porcelain. Eastwood Pottery was born out of a desire to create beautiful objects for everyday use and was established in 2017.  Pottery can be purchased through our online store at eastwoodpottery.com, or at various markets throughout the year.

Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Ceramics in 1997 (NSCAD University) and worked in Continuing Education at NSCAD for ten years.  In 2007, Peter left his position at NSCAD to start his own Graphic Design & Web Development Company, "Eastwood Design". After ten years of working behind a computer, Peter felt a strong desire to return to his craft part time.  Peter loves to spend time in the studio everyday, creating and dreaming.

When Peter is not busy running his businesses, he can be found spending time with his three kids, scheming up a new idea with his wife Sarah, or out for a run.
